Compensation Specialist (focus on Equity Plan Administration)

Your Mission

As an equity plan administrator in the Rewards & People Operations Team, you will play a crucial role in the end to end administration of SMG’s equity compensation plans. This role allows you to be the face to employees for all questions around equity compensation while contributing to overall compensation and people operations tasks.
 

Join our international team, located in six countries (Switzerland, Serbia, Vietnam, France, Germany, and India), where creativity thrives. Together, we tackle challenges, celebrate successes, and keep learning and growing.

Reporting to the Head of Rewards & People Operations, you will be responsible for administering all equity plans that SMG offers to its employees and management. Additionally, as part of the Compensation and HR Operations team you will support the annual compensation cycle and HR operations.


As part of the Rewards and People Operations team, you will gain insights into other aspects of compensation management and HR operations. We work with Ledgy as our equity administration platform, as well as Abacus and HiBob as HRIS.

What to expect:

  • Administration of all equity plans in Ledgy (equity administration platform), from grant to vesting, including communication with employees and providing all necessary documentation (salary appendices, dividend confirmations, etc.)

  • Support of global annual compensation cycle and compensation analyses (e.g. equal pay)

  • Preparing of audits and reporting requirements related to equity and compensation topics

What will you bring to the ride? 

  • Degree in business administration, HR or finance and accounting

  •  2+ years of experience in compensation administration (equity plan or deferred compensation administration is a strong plus)

  • Strong affinity for numbers & attention to detail

  • Excellent Excel skills
