Compensation & Benefits Specialist

It’s an inspiring time to join the team! Managing and administering the group benefits and reward processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of employee compensation and benefits. In addition, supporting the Group Payroll Manager with the monthly payroll inputting and checking. Job Responsibilities
  • Supporting the annual benefits renewal process across multiple areas which includes partnering with our Corporate benefits team to manage the insured and non-insured benefits (Private Medical Insurance, Pension, Group Income Protection, Group Life Assurance, Holiday (buy/sell) and voluntary benefits)
  • Liaising with third party providers on monthly reporting requirements
  • Manage the group flexible benefits platform (Cloud 8) ensuring all employees and new joiner queries are resolved and monthly reports are sent to payroll for processing
  • Collaborate closely with payroll and update the HR database accordingly.
  • Conduct benefit induction sessions for new UK hires.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all UK benefit related queries.
  • Maintain and update policies and procedures in the staff handbook related to rewards and benefits.
  • Manage the benchmarking of roles and analysis of salary data. including drafting the salary review spreadsheet for each area, collation and analysis of the salary survey and benchmark data. Whilst providing the HR business partners salary data a needed during the process.
  • Work closely with the Group HR Director during the salary review process providing market insight for the Group RemCo approval.
  • Work with finance to collate bonus pot spreadsheets for distribution to wider HR team during the annual bonus process.
  • Work with external survey provider to provide information as need
  • Work closely with the Group Payroll Manager to support with the monthly inputting and checking of payroll. This will require you stepping in during annual leave periods and assisting with payroll queries as needed.
  • Propose innovative ways to manage benefits to improve efficiency of operations
  • Research and analyse new or improved employee benefit plans to enhance the company's offerings and remain competitive in the market.
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support as required.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations and maintain payroll security and confidentiality
  • Job Requirement
  • Experience of working with fast paced organisations
  • Experience working with UK payroll systems
  • Strong UK benefits and pensions administration experience
  • Experience working with external salary benchmarking tool
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience
  • Experience of flexible benefits systems (advantageous)
  • Experience of working in global organisations (advantageous)
  • Ability to balance multiple demanding deadlines.
  • Organised, efficient, self-driven with excellent communication skills.
