The role
We’re looking for a communications and events manager with 5+ years of experience who will be able to assist with the development and implementation of Logically’s India communications and events strategy. The candidate will be a part of Logically’s Global Marketing team and will be responsible for growing Logically’s profile and reputation with media and stakeholder audiences across our key markets in India. The candidate will also work closely with our investigations, business development and technology teams to develop thought leadership materials, identify speaking opportunities and coordinate industry events and webinars. The candidate will report to the Global Head of Communications.
The role will include:
Drafting media and thought leadership materials, including press releases, blog posts, op-eds and white papers
Liaising with India-based journalists and handling media enquiries
Proactively identifying media opportunities for company spokespeople in India
Prepare briefings and presentations for company spokespeople in India
Working with the global head of communications to advise and adapt global communications materials and messaging for an Indian audience
Working closely with other teams and spokespeople within Logically to stay up to date with insights and information needed for communications plans and materials
Building and maintaining good relationships with relevant journalists, media outlets, and trade and industry stakeholders
Helping to identify and coordinate webinars, speaking opportunities and industry events
Supporting on internal communications internally and globally Working closely with the global marketing team to advise and input on Indian marketing materials
Assisting with internal presentations and reporting
Skills required:
Essential
Minimum five years’ experience in communications and media relations, either at an agency, trade association, or in-house
Experience in corporate and B2B communications
Knowledge of a wide range of communications techniques and concepts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and effectively across multiple projects and teams
Highly resourceful and detail-oriented
Proactive, positive, and collaborative mindset
Excellent time management and prioritization skills Excellent project management and organizational skills
Highly proficient in G-Suite
Preferred
Experience of working in the tech sector
Experience of working for global companies Experience of B2G communications
At least two years agency experience
Useful
Experience working on communications campaigns in multiple markets
Marketing or business development experience Working knowledge of CRM systems and internal project management tools e.g. HubSpot and Atlassian
