As a Communications Associate, you will support the Communications Lead and operationalize the communications strategy. This is a hands-on opportunity for a motivated individual who is excited by social impact storytelling.
What you will bring to Rayn as a Communications Associate
Content Creation & Design
- Design and produce visual content including graphics, short videos, reels, and basic animations.
- Support photography and video documentation for our internal and external work.

Edit videos and graphics using appropriate digital & AI platforms (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Veo or similar)
Social Media Management
- Support day to day management of Rayn’s social media platforms.
- Assist in planning and executing content calendars.
- Monitor engagement, comments, and messages and share insights with the communications team.
Communications & Storytelling Support
- Ensure consistency with Rayn’s visual identity and brand guidelines for internal and external communications.
- Support translation of program and project activities into clear and engaging digital content.
- Assist with drafting captions, short posts, and basic written communications.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather content, visuals, and contextual information.
Learning, Reporting & Coordination
- Track basic performance indicators such as reach and engagement.
- Support content reviews to identify what works and where improvements are needed.
- Assist in organizing digital assets.
Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Communications, Social Sciences, or any related field.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in communications, digital media, or a related role.
- Proficiency in design, photography, and video creation and editing.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, formats, and trends.
- Working knowledge of communications fundamentals including content, design, and social media.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment
