Communication Intern (Japanese & English)

About the role:

This role will focus on supporting communication and general support activities, such as preparing marketing materials, synthesising research, and supporting the creation of website content. This will also include translating content between English and Japanese.

You will be working with a team that is primarily based in the GMT+8/+9 time zone and will need to communicate with them during those working hours. The role can also be either full-time or part-time and can be conducted either hybrid or remotely.

Activities:

Your main activities in this role will be:

• Supporting the creation of marketing materials and website content
• Working together with other team members to translate content between English and Japanese
• Synthesising data such as stories gathered from founders
• Mainly be working in English-speaking team environment
• Note-taking

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a reflective mindset who want to better understand themselves and who have a deep curiosity in their personal growth. Ideally, the candidate will also be keen to work with team members from different cultural and disciplinary backgrounds, and open to exploring thing with a beginner's perspective when learning and doing. We would also ideally like the candidate to feel comfortable communicating in both English and Japanese (both spoken and written) at a professional level.

More generally, strong writing and language comprehension skills will be beneficial. You may also find this role interesting if you have an interest in the way businesses connect to future generations and/or an interest in story-telling.

Note: This role will require communicating in both Japanese and English.
