As a Communication & Community Specialist your job will be to own and drive the internal communication strategy for Marketing and Sales Excellence (MaSE) department, ensuring consistent, engaging, and targeted messaging across all relevant channels. Your job will include managing and growing the MaSE Community, fostering collaboration and alignment across stakeholders.   • Own and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for MaSE, maintain and update the MaSE Community and stakeholder overview
  • Manage communication channels including quarterly newsletters, Viva Engage, and targeted emails (e.g., Advisory Board)
  • Support Academy Leads in crafting and delivering effective communications
  • Organize and coordinate Learning Week activities in collaboration with Regional Commercial Excellence teams
  • Act as the liaison with the Global Communications Community to ensure alignment
  • Drive engagement and visibility of MaSE initiatives through storytelling and strategic messaging

Qualifications and required experience

  • Solid experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or community management
  • Experience managing digital communication platforms (e.g., Viva Engage, SharePoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, creative thinking and storytelling skills
  • Project management and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple geographies in a matrixed organization
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-functional team settings
  • Some travel required to support offsite meetings

There is a preference for the role to be based in Manchester or Cambridge, but multiple Syngenta locations within the UK can be considered.

Syngenta’s site at Cambridge is the location for the commercial operations of Syngenta's Crop Protection, Seeds, Flowers and Lawn & Garden businesses in the UK and Ireland. Activities include sales, marketing, technical support, customer support, HR, Finance and administration functions.
