Diabetes Action Canada is seeking a dynamic communications professional with strong writing, editing, interviewing, and storytelling skills. This role requires editorial judgment and the ability to craft compelling content for various communication channels, including the website, intranet, video platforms, and social media, while ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
The successful candidate will play a key role in building and engaging Diabetes Action Canada’s national researcher and Patient Partner communities. This includes managing social media, developing branded assets, support website updates, coordinating in-person and virtual events, while maintaining a cohesive and compelling organizational presence. This position will support the Patient Engagement Program under the direction of the Manager, Research Planning.
This position is hands-on, collaborative and highly interactive. As part of this role, the incumbent will represent Diabetes Action Canada on committees where communications and engagement expertise are beneficial and attend events, workshops, and conferences to capture content and strengthen community connection.
