For the next season, we are looking for a Chef de Cuisine to join the team at our refined La Terrazza Restaurant, and at the Pool Grill Restaurant. 

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. 

He/she should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills. The primary objective is to provide a friendly, attentive, and timely service and to create an exceptional experience for all our guests.  

He/She reports to Executive Chef. 

 

Main duties & responsibilities: 

  • Assisting section chefs (Chef de Partie) in the preparation of ingredients and dishes. 
  • Maintaining cleanliness and order of the workstation and kitchen. 
  • Handling and storing food according to HACCP guidelines. 
  • Actively collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and high-quality service. 

 

Requirements

  • Effective communication: communicate clearly and in an appropriate manner (both verbally and non-verbally); 
  • Emotional intelligence: demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and emotions of guests and colleagues and adjust his/her style to them. Manage own emotions in challenging situations; 
  • Adaptability: identify when a different approach is needed and offer solutions. Try and adopt new ways of doing things; 
  • Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player.
  • Basic knowledge of cooking styles, equipments and raw materials processing techniques; 
  • At least 1 year previous professional experience in a similar role in a luxury environment, also with school internships; 
  • Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally.

  • We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 6s,  Commis de Cuisine; 
  • Start date: April/May 2026 to End date: November 2026, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path; 
  • Monthly gross salary around 1.600€ + separate payslip for 13°,14° and TFR;
