Coordinate and execute complex simulation and development activities, ensuring accurate performance predictions for Commercial Tires (CT) and driving the development of advanced simulation methods, tools, and operational processes.

In this role, you will:

  • Support and coordinate activities of the local CT Simulation Team
  • Manage team capacity to ensure timely response to requests, quality control and effective execution of simulation tasks
  • Support Human Relation Development processes for the local CT Simulation Team and foster competency development
  • Execute and operate CT simulation activities using Finite Element Method (FEM) techniques
  • Ensure accuracy, quality and methodological validity of all simulation processes.
  • Perform simulation tasks for Commercial Tires, including Rolling Resistance, Wear, Wespa, Belt Endurance, Bead Endurance, Groove Cracking and other standard analyses
  • Interpret, evaluate and present simulation results to relevant stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement of FEM tire models and simulation accuracy
  • Coordinate the processing of complex simulation tasks and the development of advanced simulation methods and tools
  • Understand and apply boundary conditions given by the target market, application and service
  • Ensure the product performance requirements are met and balanced through pattern, contour and layout optimization
  • Drive improvements in simulation workflows, tools and operational processes
  • Collaborate with RDCT and other departments to leverage synergies and ensure alignment.
  • Bachelor’s, or master’s degree engineering, mechanical area preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience
  • Working experience in simulation (min. 3 years)
  • Experience in leading people
  • Experience in Project Management and project team coordination
  • Business fluent in English language
  • Portuguese languages skills written and spoken is a plus
  • High service orientation
  • Expert communication and networking skills
  • Willingness to travel worldwide (up to 20%)
