The Commercial Systems & Sales Tools Lead will own and elevate the digital ecosystem powering our global Commercial teams, including Sales, Solutions Engineering, Business Development & Marketing.

This role is the strategic link between our business functions and our IT organization, ensuring that our commercial processes are supported by tools that help us sell better, faster and smarter. You’ll shape the vision for our commercial systems, steer IT roadmaps based on commercial business needs and drive adoption of innovative solutions — from Salesforce and pricing/design tools to AI‑powered assistants and commercial data models.

Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment 

  • Define and champion the vision for tools supporting our Design-to-Order process (Salesforce, Exotec’s design, costing & pricing tools, Exotec’s client data analysis tool, etc.) 
  • Steer the roadmap of sales tools towards a more integrated and effective ecosystem, in collaboration with the Product Manager and Product Owners 
  • Present vision, roadmaps and improvements to leadership and executive stakeholders 
  • Ensure alignment between Commercial Excellence and key Sales users from all business units for feature requests and prioritization 

Technical Coordination 

  • Gather and consolidate pain points and feature requests across the sales tools ecosystem 
  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and specifications 
  • Balance technical feasibility with business impact when prioritizing development work  
  • Coordinate pre-production testing, production deployments, and deployment communication 

Strategic Projects & Innovation 

  • Drive the development of tools within the control of Commercial Excellence in coordination with Product Owners 
  • Develop and drive adoption of AI agents 
  • Identify needs for new commercial tools and provide solutions 
  • Support our Business Analyst to structure the commercial data model 

User Support 

  • Manage expectations and communicate on development progress 
  • Document and communicate system changes, impacts, and rollouts to commercial teams  
  • Collaborate with the Learning Business Partner to deliver training courses and create user documentation 
  • Support teams on tool usage and issues, and drive adoption 
  • Support stakeholders from other teams relying on commercial systems and data 

Requirements

Core Requirements

  • Strong experience in revenue operations within a B2B or technical sales environment 
  • Strong product management mindset 
  • Ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions 
  • Excellent stakeholder management across technical and business audiences at all levels 
  • Understanding of sales tools ecosystems 
  • Full professional fluency in French and English for international collaboration 
  • Curiosity, autonomy, and a builder mentality - you like improving systems, not just using them. 

Value‑Add Skills

  • Experience with Salesforce and CPQ systems 
  • Experience creating AI agents, leveraging MCPs and optimizing AI knowledge bases 
  • Experience with coding (Python, Vue3, PHP), deployment tools (CI/CD, Helm, Kubernetes) 
  • Experience with BigQuery
