WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU:

• Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of light commercial refrigeration equipment (walk-in coolers, freezers, beverage dispensers, etc.)
• Work on a variety of  refrigeration and air conditioning systems in light commercial settings, including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, beverage dispensers, rooftop AC units, and split systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system issues, including electrical and mechanical problems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all job functions.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, explaining technical issues in an understandable manner, and ensuring satisfaction with work performed.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work performed.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service requests (if applicable).
• Keep up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and system advancements to maintain technical expertise.

• Experience in Air Conditioning. This position will involve working on a variety of refrigeration and air conditioning systems in light commercial settings, including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, beverage dispensers, rooftop AC units, and split systems.

Qualifications:

• Universal EPA Universal EPA certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills for documentation via iPad/cell phone. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial HVAC systems
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in light commercial refrigeration

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and frequently move heavy objects.
• Comfort working in extreme temperatures and tight spaces, including attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
• Strong balance and coordination for climbing ladders and working at heights of 45 feet or higher.
• Endurance to stand or kneel for extended periods.
• Dexterity for tasks such as connecting electrical components and making precise measurements.

Helios Service Partners determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $30 to $38/hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
