Heartflow is seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Commercial Contracts Manager to join our team as we look to scale our commercial organization and ramp up commercialization efforts in the U.S., UK, Europe, and Japan.

The Commercial Operations Contract Manager works closely with multiple internal stakeholders and the legal department to efficiently and accurately manage the drafting and redline process for commercial customers. These includes, but is not limited to, managing the redlines and assigning redlines to the appropriate subject matter expert, as well as amending redlines as directed by those SME’s. This position will collaborate with internal stakeholders, sales representatives and customers.

This is a full-time position with salary, benefits, and equity. This position will work out of the California office and require up to 10% travel. This position reports directly to the Director, Commercial Contracts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for drafting Amendments, Agreements, NDA’s and BAA’s to sales upon request for customers
  • Facilitate the redlines for commercial contracts as well as contribute to customer calls regarding redlines.
  • Key point person for questions from internal and external parties regarding contracting
  • Identify opportunities for improving efficiency and filling business gaps in the contract process and work with commercial stakeholders to tackle them
  • Develop and maintain a playbook in collaboration with the legal team
  • Partner with the internal subject matter experts to collect valuable insight and guidance on redlines.
  • Provide bridge between sales team and legal team and ensure redlines are returned within a short turnaround time.
  • Ensure business systems (Salesforce, dashboard, IronClad, etc.) are adopted and optimized for the team

Skills Needed:

  • Experience redlining and problem-solving regarding contract terms and conditions
  • Comfortable conducting calls with customers and their executives to explain and solve complex redlines

Educational Requirements & Work Experience: 

  • Track record of academic excellence, including a four-year Bachelor’s degree; preference for advanced legal education.
  • 4-6 years experience in commercial contracting; preference for 2+ years of experience in healthcare industry.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $155,000 to $195,000 per year, bonus, equity. #LI-Hybrid #LI-IB1
