Commercial/New Business Intern

TLDR

Support the Commercial team in lead generation and sales activities while gaining valuable experience in market research and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Commercial team with prospecting and lead generation activities.
  • Support in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and client documentation.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Update and maintain Customer Relationship Management systems and client databases accurately.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Underwriting, Claims, Finance) to ensure smooth client onboarding.
  • Participate in client meetings and prepare meeting notes and follow-ups.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Commercial department.

Key Skills:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
