About the role
Step into a dynamic role supporting MYOB’s Technology function and help shape the future of innovation and success. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you'll provide financial insight, analysis, and operational support that drives informed decision-making and business growth.
Please note, this is a Fixed Term Contract until end of August 2026 with the potential to extend or become a permanent team member
What will keep you busy...
Own and manage the end-to-end workforce model, tracking headcount changes and cost impacts
Support month-end processes, including accruals, reallocations, and accurate Workday postings
Manage invoice approvals and allocations to ensure smooth financial operations
Prepare monthly finance packs for the SLT, including figures, graphs, and commentary
Track and manage budgets, performing variance analysis and explaining deviations to leadership
Forecast outcomes for the current month, quarter, and year, highlighting risks and opportunities
Own and deliver ad-hoc financial projects, providing financial modelling, analysis and insights to support decision-making, with clear accountability for stakeholder management and business partnering
What we'd love to see from you
Experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or finance business partnering
Hands on experience with an ERP system (Workday would be ideal!)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
Advanced Excel skills and experience in creating financial projections and scenario analysis
Ability to engage and influence senior leaders, translating numbers into practical recommendations
Diligent, operationally focused, and able to manage several priorities in a fast-evolving environment
Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or CFA or equivalent experience are valued; experience in SaaS or tech is a plus
