With a strong focus on future growth we now have the opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our growing team of financial analysts. We’re excited for this person to demonstrate their passion for delivering exceptional internal and external customer service, whilst keeping their focus on financial efficiencies and driving cost reductions.
What you will do
- Perform financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting to identify trends, benchmarking, and to increase financial performance
- Support cost-analysis and price modeling
- Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
- Effectively present findings and recommendations to Commercial Finance Manager and Business Unit Leaders (verbally and visually)
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting in support of business initiatives and performance
- Aid in budgeting and expenditure planning processes
- Drive process improvement and cost-savings initiatives
- Collaborate across various departments on ad-hoc projects and initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting
- 1-2 years’ experience within financial analysis
- Experience reviewing and analyzing costs, trends, profitability, margins, estimates, and contracts for internal or external clients
- Experience using ERP and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
- Microsoft Office Suite - well-versed in excel especially
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience in healthcare environment is a plus
