We continue to rapidly grow our network of fast charging stations across Europe and at the same time, the number of electric vehicles on the road is scaling at pace. In this context, we want to make sure that we accelerate the number of customers at our charging stations to continue leading the way in this new industry with outstanding station economics. Fastned’s Growth teams play a pivotal role in making sure we grow the number of electric drivers charging at our stations by increasing the catch rate of traffic passing our stations. With the growth of our business, we are looking to strengthen our commercial growth capabilities further for all our European markets, both at the central and local levels.
While this role is officially titled Director of Growth internally, we are exploring different titles to attract a diverse range of candidates. Regardless of the title, the scope and impact of this position remain the same.
As Director of Growth, you lead Fastned’s Growth teams and enable them to successfully boost the number of electric drivers that come and charge with us. You will do this by defining and implementing the commercial strategy, our pricing and propositions, making sure our customers can find us in their navigation systems and closing deals and partnerships with your team on a national and European level that will result in increased sales at our stations.
In this role, you will manage Commercial Strategy & Insights, Station Steering, Strategic Accounts and our Sales team. You will report directly to our CEO, and you will work closely with our Director of Marketing & Communications to ensure alignment between brand-building efforts and commercial growth initiatives. This high-impact, strategic leadership role requires a data-driven mindset, strong commercial acumen, and experience scaling demand-generation efforts across multiple European regions.
Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to drive revenue and traffic conversion to our stations. You will do this by identifying new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive insights to drive strategic decision-making. Your team will also continuously assess sales conversion performance and the actual impact closed sales deals have on our revenue numbers and adjust accordingly.
Oversee the Strategy & Insights team to ensure deep market research, customer analytics, and competitive intelligence. Use data to drive decision-making across sales forecasting, customer segmentation, and revenue modelling.
Ensure the team provides relevant station insights; constant monitoring and dashboarding of the performance of individual stations (a.k.a ‘Station Steering’). Oversee the development of an overall framework that will enable the business to stay on top of what commercial initiatives we have deployed to improve results and what their impact on catch rate is across the locations.
Oversee the sales team to enhance pipeline development, deal closing, and revenue performance. For us, this means making sure they bring in the right corporate and functional fleet deals. Implement and refine sales methodologies by establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and using data-driven insights to optimize this team's performance.
Lead the Strategic Account specialists to ensure strong, long-term relationships with key accounts across Europe; car manufacturers (OEM’s), mobility service providers (MSP’s) and other significant new business opportunities. Help them develop tailored account strategies to strengthen partnerships and unlock new revenue streams.
As Director of Growth, you will also be tasked to make sure commercial projects and initiatives are successfully delivered: from arranging proper signage at our locations, to making sure customers can find us in their navigation systems (Digital Wayfinding).
Lead and integrate the Strategy & Insights, Station Steering, Sales, and Strategic Accounts teams to ensure alignment on goals and execution. In addition, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing & Communication to synchronize sales, marketing, and PR & Communication efforts across our markets.
