  • Responsibilities of the Commercial Construction Project Manager:
  • Lead all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through close-out 
  • Pursue new project opportunities with existing and new clients 
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, logistics plans, and work plans 
  • Maintain strong client and subcontractor relations  
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work for completeness and constructability 
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, building codes, and regulatory requirements 
  • Review and approve change orders, pay applications, and cost reports 
  • Lead, mentor, and support Project Engineers and field staff 
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors 
  • Facilitate project meetings, including owner meetings, coordination meetings, and progress reviews 
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule risks and constraints 
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies 
  • Resolve project issues, conflicts, and disputes in a timely and professional manner 
  • Ensure adherence to company quality control standards and project specifications 
  • Promote and enforce jobsite safety programs and OSHA compliance 
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and progress 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners and key stakeholders 
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction 
  • Provide clear, accurate, and timely project reporting and communication 
  • Ensure completion of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and final financial reconciliation
