As a Commercial Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately preparing cost estimates and bids for commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure all aspects of a project are accounted for, leading to successful contracts and company growth. This position is based in Irving, TX.
Review, analyze, and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Identify subcontractor needs and distribute bid requests accordingly.
Manage the bidding process, ensuring all requirements and exclusions are covered.
Calculate material, labor, and overhead costs to prepare competitive bids.
Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing.
Use estimating software and databases to organize and track bid submissions.
Review contracts, order bonds, and set up projects in Bluebook.
Ensure compliance with NAIC codes and industry regulations.
Maintain clear communication with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
