Your New Role

As a Commercial Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately preparing cost estimates and bids for commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure all aspects of a project are accounted for, leading to successful contracts and company growth. This position is based in Irving, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.

  • Identify subcontractor needs and distribute bid requests accordingly.

  • Manage the bidding process, ensuring all requirements and exclusions are covered.

  • Calculate material, labor, and overhead costs to prepare competitive bids.

  • Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing.

  • Use estimating software and databases to organize and track bid submissions.

  • Review contracts, order bonds, and set up projects in Bluebook.

  • Ensure compliance with NAIC codes and industry regulations.

  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
