THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for a Commercial Analyst to drive our Casino Promotions & Proposition Strategy. You will play a key role on the Casino Commercial team, partnering with your direct manager and stakeholders to improve our promotions & generosity strategy, free-to-play roadmap, and relevant forecasting. You will collaborate with multiple departments within FanDuel including, but not limited to marketing, product, data analytics, and customer support. This is an exciting opportunity to help elevate revenue-driving & customer-facing commercial initiatives at a premier gaming company.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

• Partner with stakeholders to produce insights and provide recommendations to improve and complement our unique casino propositions and generosity levers e.g. free-to-play, loyalty, and lifecycle promotions. 
• Establish measures of success and create, modify, and evolve data visualizations and models to better understand and explain the performance of various KPIs. 
• Monitor market trends, industry development and business performance and report regularly to stakeholders and cross-functional teams. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional casino teams to answer challenging questions with data.  
• Prepare performance and commercial insights on a regular or as-needed basis to share with stakeholders. 
• Support the product and marketing teams by providing subject matter expertise and analytical or commercial requests as needed. 
  
  
  

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a highly numerate (math, stats, econ, finance, etc.) or relevant professional experience in data and/or analytics. 
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in an analytical position. 
• Professional experience with SQL and Excel required 
  • Familiarity with Python is a plus; experience with tableau/data visualization is a plus. 
• Experience building presentations (i.e. PowerPoint) and delivering them to senior members of a team. 
• Strong problem-solving skills, combined with a track record of transforming data into actionable business insight. 
• Loves to learn and seeks challenges. 
• Interest in casino, iGaming or the sports betting industry preferred.

The applicable salary range for this position is $74,000 - $101,200 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
