Commerce and Content Front End Technical Consultant

The Role:

Avatria is looking for a Commerce and Content Front End Technical Consultant to join our Services team. As a Technical Consultant, you will play a critical role in the technical design, development, and delivery of highly customized Commerce and Content systems for our customers. You are an ideal candidate if you are passionate about software development, technology, problem solving, and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

We want someone that can

• Work effectively and corroboratively in small and large team environment

• Roll their sleeves up to deliver high quality code and technical documentation

• Wear many hats and adapt their operating mode to best serve the team

• Take initiative, works well with little guidance and loves solving tough problems

Nice to have

• Experience working with visual design tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD

• Experience with deploying and monitoring applications, including using GitHub, Docker and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience in the Digital Commerce domain, including searching, filtering, shopping cart, checkout flows and order pipelines

• Experience in the Content Management domain, including CMS Templating/Componentization and Page Builder technologies

• Experience with Commerce software platforms such as SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, commercetools and BigCommerce

• Experience with Content Management platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful and Builder.io

Requirements

Must have…

• Professional experience building and integrating enterprise systems

• Proficient with multiple programming languages such as Java, PHP and Node.js

• Strong understanding of web technologies and integrations, such as building APIs in REST/GraphQL and handling authentication & authorization

• Undergraduate education or comparable knowledge and experience with Computer Science

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
