Job Description:

 

As a Command & Control Manager at Accenture Federal Services, you will play a key role in shaping, developing, and integrating next generation command and control capabilities across the Defense & Intelligence portfolio. You will apply your technical experience supporting operational units and fielding mission systems to ensure our solutions align with real world mission demands.

 

Your responsibilities will center on translating mission workflows, user feedback, and operational requirements into actionable product specifications for engineering and solution teams. You will help guide the development, integration, and deployment of C2 systems, data pipelines, and decision support tools, ensuring they meet interoperability standards and effectively support end users in the field.

 

In this role, you will analyze mission inputs, capability gaps, and stakeholder needs to drive product roadmaps and internal investment priorities. Your background working with operational units, whether through system fielding, capability integration, training support, or user engagement, will be essential in articulating user needs and validating solution designs. You will also contribute subject matter expertise to go to market activities, including client engagement, solution shaping, demonstrations, and proposal development.

 

As the Command & Control Manager, you will help shape the evolution of C2 capabilities for federal clients by bridging mission needs with product development. Your experience supporting the delivery and integration of operational capabilities will be instrumental in ensuring our solutions are mission ready, user centered, and impactful.
 

The Work:

  • Support the development, integration, and fielding of command and control capabilities in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Coordinate with operational units and end users to understand mission workflows, system usage, and real-world constraints that inform capability design.
  • Contribute to the definition and refinement of C2 system architectures, data flows, interoperability requirements, and integration approaches.
  • Assess mission inputs, user feedback, and operational data to inform product decisions and strengthen solution relevance.
  • Translate mission needs, capability gaps, and user requirements into clear, actionable product specifications for Accenture solution and engineering teams.
  • Shape internal investment priorities by articulating mission value, user impact, and opportunities for capability advancement across the portfolio.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support go to market activities, including client engagement, solution shaping, demonstrations, and proposal development.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business development teams to ensure offerings align with mission demands and are ready for fielding and adoption.
     

Here’s what you need:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years' experience managing small Agile teams
  • Experience working in a Department of War, Acquisition Program Office
  • Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps
     

Bonus points if you have:

  • Field specific skills or certifications related to tactical military command and control (C2) experience
  • Knowledge regarding military symbology, military sensor, and text data
     

Security Clearance:

  • Must have an active Secret security clearance

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
