What We Need / What You’ll Do
We are seeking a hands-on Data Quality Specialist o to ensure enterprise data is accurate, trusted, and fit for business-critical use. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders in financial services or regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth data profiling and analysis to identify quality issues, anomalies, and risks.
• Evaluate existing  Data Quality controls, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Lead assessments across the six core data quality dimensions: accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, and uniqueness.
• Collaborate with business data owners, stewards, and engineers to align on definitions, use cases, and quality expectations.
• Facilitate sessions to review DQ findings and define rules, thresholds, and control points.
• Perform root cause analysis of data quality issues and recommend remediation plans.
• Guide the implementation of DQ rules, ensuring coverage across all dimensions and optimal enforcement points.
• Leverage Collibra Data Quality (or similar tools) for rule authoring, profiling, scoring, and issue management.
• Automate rule enforcement, monitor ongoing DQ health, and maintain feedback loops for remediation.
• Ensure DQ assets align with governance policies and enterprise metadata standards.
• Document assessments, rules, and decisions for audits, compliance reviews, and governance checkpoints.

What You Need / Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Quality or similar tools.
• Strong background in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., BCBS 239, GDPR/CCPA).
• Knowledge of enterprise data architecture, metadata management, and governance practices.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify issues, and implement practical remediation strategies.
• Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
