Collections Team Lead / Manager

FundThrough is looking for a curious, passionate, and experienced Collections Team Lead / Manager to report to the Director, Global Collections & Cash Apps, and join us on our mission to help business owners improve their cash flow by getting them paid ahead of long net terms.

Based in Toronto and operating across North America, FundThrough’s AI-powered invoice funding platform gives B2B businesses fast, customized funding offers to get their invoices paid in a few days – rather than a few months – and get quick access to cash they’ve already earned.

Requirements

  • You have 2 to 5 years of collections or directly related experience.
  • You have excellent communication and writing skills.
  • You are to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • You pay great attention to details.
  • You are able to collaborate with different teams.
  • You have working knowledge of online systems, Microsoft Office suite, etc.
  • You are skilled at learning new software, i.e. FundThrough’s platform

Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned A/R portfolio and review open invoices to identify delinquent accounts
  • Initiate and maintain consistent communication with customers to follow up on these accounts until payments are received
  • Make applicable notes on customer accounts as to any pertinent collection activity or customer contact
  • Identify problems in invoice terms vs. payment terms and escalate accounts where collectability is uncertain
  • Collaborate with the cash application team in advising/obtaining remittance information from clients/payors
  • Help resolve billing and customer credit issues
  • Research and maintain accurate contact records for all customers
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

We believe in transparency and fair pay. For this role, the anticipated salary range is $75,000-$90,000 CAD, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.
