Collections Specialist - US Market

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Collections Expert to join our US Supply Chain Finance (SCF) collections team. This role is pivotal in enhancing collections performance, maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the overall operational efficiency, financial stability and growth  of our US SCF portfolio.

 


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a valued member of the US SCF Collections team, focused on optimizing debt repayment solutions  in the US portfolio.

  • Follow and utilize  proven collections strategies tailored to various client situations and geographies.

  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, with a focus on reducing delinquencies while preserving long-term partnerships.

  • Leverage data, KPIs, and performance metrics to derive insights and drive continuous performance  improvements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments including legal, risk, and finance to resolve collection issues and support policy enhancements.

  • Ensure strict adherence to international regulations and internal compliance standards across jurisdictions.

  • Drive innovation in collections processes and systems to enhance recovery rates and operational efficiency.


 

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

  • Prior experience in lending, structured finance, or supply chain finance (SCF) is  preferred with emphasis on strong communication skills and logical approach to solving problems and working towards solutions.

  • Demonstrated success in learning, understanding and executing effective collections strategies, specifically in the US SCF space.

  • Ability to follow  collections-related regulations and compliance requirements.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical abilities and a logic-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and drafting skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively understand issues and work towards resolution.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • A collaborative and humble mindset — open to feedback and committed to continuous learning.

  • Capable of maintaining professionalism in collections interactions while ensuring firmness in approach and driving towards win/win solutions that protect the company’s bottom line. 

  • 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role.

  • Willingness to work night shifts (6 pm - 3 am)
