Collaborating Psychiatrist Role

At ReKlame Health, the Collaborating Psychiatrist provides essential mentorship and support to psychiatric nurse practitioners (NPs) through collaborative partnerships. This contract position entails monthly to quarterly individual consultations with each NP and supervision of multiple New York State-licensed providers. Furthermore, the role involves assisting the organization with Medicaid enrollment for newer providers who require collaborative agreements until they achieve autonomous practice status in New York.

Our Nurse Practitioners:

  • Each ReKlame provider is rigorously screened, ambitious, motivated, mission-driven, and practices high-quality clinical care.

  • Our NPs attend weekly to biweekly supervision with our Clinical Lead, who has more than 20 years of experience as a nurse practitioner.

  • Each NP is covered under the organization's liability insurance and has their own DEA, licenses & NPI.

    • Liability ultimately rests with the practicing NP, who is considered an independent provider.

Your role at ReKlame Health would include:

  • Establishing formal collaborative practice agreements (provided by ReKlame) for our NY-licensed nurse practitioners within New York State.

  • Conducting quarterly or tri-monthly meetings with each partnered Nurse Practitioner. During these sessions, each NP will present 2-3 prepared cases for review.

  • Facilitating provider Medicaid enrollment by signing state-required collaboration forms, thereby expanding ReKlame’s reach to individuals requiring psychiatric care.

Requirements:

  • Unrestricted, active medical license in the state of New York

  • Completed four-year residency in psychiatry

  • Board certification in psychiatry

You’ll love this role if:

  • You’re passionate about expanding access to psychiatric and mental health care to marginalized and underserved populations.

  • You love to educate bright, hungry clinicians eager to learn from your expertise.

What We Offer You:

  • Be a part of innovating change in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.

  • An opportunity to collaborate in a creative, open-minded, mission-driven community excited about bringing high-quality mental health care to underserved communities.

  • Direct line of communication with our Clinical Lead and Lead Nurse Practitioner.

  • Competitive compensation based on commitment (Reklame Health considers different compensation structures)

ReKlame Health considers several factors to ensure a fair and competitive offer when evaluating compensation packages. These include the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education, and training, as well as their essential skills. Internal peer equity is also examined to maintain balance within the organization. Additionally, current market conditions and overall organizational needs are crucial in shaping the final offer. Each aspect is thoughtfully reviewed before extending an offer, ensuring a comprehensive and equitable approach.
