We are seeking a part-time onsite intern to join our Cognitive Innovation Lab in Mississauga.

You will work directly with our Founder & CTO on developing AI agents, LLM-based workflows, automation models, and quantum optimization experiments.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for increased hours or a full-time role based on performance and results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and deploy AI and automation workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI APIs, and n8n
  • Integrate AI and LLM components into existing PHP (Laravel) enterprise systems
  • Develop and fine-tune LLMs (e.g., Llama, Mistral, GPT models) for specific business use cases
  • Participate in quantum optimization (QUBO/QAOA) experiments for cost or resource modeling
  • Prepare technical documentation, prototype summaries, and internal research reports
  • Support rapid development and testing cycles under tight timelines

Requirements

Required Skills

  • Proficient in Python, PHP (Laravel), JavaScript, and REST APIs
  • Understanding of LLMs, Transformers, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
  • Experience or familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, and AI orchestration tools
  • Strong foundation in data handling (Pandas, NumPy, JSON) and version control (Git)
  • Excellent time management, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to perform onsite in Mississauga, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under pressure

Education
Open to students or recent graduates in:

  • Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, or related disciplines
