CNC Operator

As a CNC Operator, you’ll be the backbone of our machining process in Corvallis. We need someone who can handle the complexity of multi-axis machines and keep production tight.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes.
• Precision Setup: Configure machines based on production specs and specific setup instructions.
• Quality Control: Verify that all machined parts meet strict standards using precision measurement tools.
• Technical Literacy: Read and interpret G&M codes directly from the machine controller.
• Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly follow all safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

To keep our shop running at the level we expect, we’re looking for a professional who is reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to get their hands dirty.

• Core Competencies: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a collaborative mindset.
• Technical Skills: * Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, and indicators).
• Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documents and machine shop terminology.
• Willingness to strictly follow provided setup and production instructions.
• Physical Demands: * Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Reliability: Punctuality and dependability are non-negotiable.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency with Mastercam software.
• Familiarity with MillTurn operations on Mazak Integrex machines.
• Working knowledge of Renishaw probing techniques.
