CNC Machinist - Second Shift | Machine Shop

The job consists primarily of loading, monitoring, and inspecting machined parts, once complete. The primary focus of this job is to support the increase in quantities needed for our rapid company growth. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
•    Interpret engineered drawings and CAD models
•    Analyze and answer manufacturability questions from design engineers
•    CAM Programming
•    Fixture and tool Design
•    CNC Machine Setup
•    Finished Part Inspection
Minimum Qualifications:
•    Willingness and ability to work second shift
•    Experience working in an R&D Environment
•    Minimum of 3 years CNC Machining experience
•    Experience with Okuma, HAAS,CR Onsrud, and DMG Mori is a plus
•    CNC Machine experience (Programming, and operating)
•    Experience with Fusion 360 CAM software is preferred 
•    Experience with manual machining
•    CAM Programming experience is a plus (Willing to train the right candidate)
•    Experience with fixture design
•    Efficient CNC Machine Setup
•    Proficient with computers (Microsoft, Google, etc.)
•    5 Axis Programming Experience is required

  • Second Shift Hours:
  • Option of four 10 hour (3:30 pm - 1:30 am) shifts or five 8 hours shifts
  • This role is a full-time position
