The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Salary: $63,000-83,000/year
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and/or multi-axis machines
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions
Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements
Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools
Troubleshoot machining issues and make minor program edits at the machine
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
Document production results and report quality or equipment issues
Requirements:
4+ years CNC experience
Experience doing CNC or Re-milling holes on existing products
