Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Location: Cocoa Beach, FL
Pay Rate: Up to $27.00/Hour (Depending on Experience)
Job Type: Contract to Hire
SUMMARY
The CNC Machine Operator has experience with one or more of the following: Kinetic Plasma table, Peddinghaus Saw/Drill line, Peddinghaus Angle Master, Ficep Beamline. This position also requires experience with overhead cranes, detailed part marking, and manual lifting of 50lbs regularly.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
Select correct machine settings for optimal operations
Measure materials to assure conformance with design specifications
Select correct material type, stock size and dimensions
Transfer appropriate data onto materials
Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area
Keep an accurate record of daily operations and material usage
Perform routine preventative maintenance and assist in trouble shooting any machine issues
REQUIREMENTS
Experienced operating CNC plasma table or experience with sawing/drilling/cutting operations is required
Ability to interpret blueprints, symbols and notes is preferred
Must be able to read a tape measure to within 1/16”
Ability to perform basic math
Ability to stand for a prolonged period
Ability to tolerate hot and cold working environments
Ability to safely operator overhead cranes and the material transfer/convey system
Tekla PowerFab experience preferred
