Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join our 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate will operate and monitor a Bismarck CNC laser cutting machine to process carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals with precision.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the CNC laser cutting machine to ensure accurate production.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders for precise part quality.
Set up the machine, adjust cutting parameters, and prepare tooling for daily operations.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components using forklifts, pallet jacks, or overhead cranes as needed.
Perform routine maintenance, including lens cleaning, nozzle changes, and alignment checks.
Monitor production, troubleshoot quality or equipment issues, and communicate with supervisors.
Qualifications:
Previous experience with CNC laser machines preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes if required.
