You will be:

  • defining and unifying governance standards for the Google Cloud Platform environment to ensure security, compliance, and scalability for future initiatives,

  • establishing rules for account, project, and access management in GCP,

  • implementing security policies aligned with organizational standards,

  • creating a consistent project and account hierarchy across the cloud landscape,

  • defining roles, responsibilities, and operating models for long-term platform maintenance,

  • developing a coherent multi-cloud strategy for leveraging GCP and AWS in business processes,

  • collaborating with stakeholders across corporate structures to align governance and security expectations,

  • preparing technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, lifecycle documentation, and runbooks.

Requirements

Your profile:

  • Software Development Expert with at least 12 years of commercial experience in the industry,

  • excellent knowledge and hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform environments,

  • strong experience with GCP organizational structure, project and account hierarchy, IAM lifecycle, billing, tagging, and labeling,

  • solid understanding of security and compliance topics, including security policies, encryption, and KMS,

  • experience in access management, permission matrices, and RACI models,

  • practical experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Terraform and IaC,

  • hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Cloud Build or GitLab CI,

  • familiarity with monitoring solutions like Stackdriver and Prometheus/Grafana,

  • experience with GCP governance: cost control, budgets, reporting, naming standards, and security review processes,

  • strong understanding of networking concepts including VPC, peering, and firewall policies,

  • experience in creating high-quality technical documentation (architecture diagrams, lifecycle documents, runbooks),

  • working knowledge of AWS and hybrid cloud environments (nice to have),

  • understanding of identity management tools such as Okta, Entra ID, or Google Workspace (nice to have),

  • familiarity with security standards like ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR (nice to have),

  • experience with compliance automation (Policy-as-Code, e.g., OPA) (nice to have),

  • ability to conduct GCP workshops for technical teams based on official GCP materials,

  • experience working within corporate structures and managing multiple stakeholders,

  • strong influence skills — negotiation, consensus-building, and presenting technical concepts to different audiences,

  • excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills,

  • proactive mindset and strong ability to work with priorities,

  • have the readiness to travel to clients’ locations and Xebia offices,

  • fluent in Polish (at least at a C1 level),

  • good command of English (at least B2 level),

  • goal-oriented approach.



    Work from Poland, and a work permit is required.
