Cloud Solutions Architect

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with customers to design and implement cloud architectures on Gcore
• Build and deliver hands-on MVPs and proof-of-concept solutions for non-standard customer onboarding scenarios
• Help clients deploy and configure:
  • Virtual machines and bare metal servers
  • VPCs, networks, subnets, routing, security groups, and load balancers
  • Kubernetes clusters and related services
  • Container registries and containerized applications
• Troubleshoot and debug:
  • Network connectivity, routing, DNS, and security issues
  • Kubernetes cluster problems (pods, services, ingress, deployments, scaling, etc.)
• Analyze existing customer infrastructures and:
  • Identify bottlenecks and single points of failure
  • Propose improvements for performance, reliability, cost, and security
• Create and maintain technical documentation, reference architectures, and best practices
• Participate in customer calls, workshops, and demos, explaining complex technical concepts in clear and simple language
• Collaborate with internal teams (Support, Engineering, Product) to resolve complex cases and improve the platform
• Act as a proactive, trusted advisor for customers, anticipating potential issues and suggesting preventive measures

What We’re Looking For

• Proven hands-on experience building and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure - you should be comfortable spinning up and debugging environments yourself
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Linux-based systems
  • Virtual machines and/or bare metal servers
• • Networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls, load balancing
  • Kubernetes (installation, configuration, troubleshooting)
  • Docker or other container technologies; container registries
• Ability to debug complex network and Kubernetes issues end-to-end
• Experience writing scripts or automation (Bash, Python, or similar) to support deployments
• Good understanding of high availability, scalability, and performance optimization
• Strong communication skills: ability to talk to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive, polite, and solution-oriented attitude in all customer interactions
• Solid written and spoken English

Nice to Have

• Experience with other public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
• Experience in customer-facing roles (pre-sales, consulting, support, or architecture)
