ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to strengthen our team within a strategic digital operations initiative. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, supporting, and optimizing modern cloud-based platforms on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure stable, secure, and scalable cloud environments, supporting advanced analytics, AI, and DevOps-driven workloads.

This position plays a key role in platform operations, automation, and continuous improvement of cloud services that enable data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate, maintain, and support Azure-based cloud platforms in a production environment.

• Manage and optimize Azure services including analytics, AI, and DevOps components.

• Support platform operations and 3rd-level incident resolution.

• Implement and maintain automation using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.

• Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.

• Work closely with application, data, and AI teams to enable scalable cloud solutions.

• Document operational procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong technical knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of Azure Analytics / Databricks environments.

• Experience with Python, SQL, and PowerShell scripting.

• Understanding of API Gateway concepts and integrations.

• Familiarity with Machine Learning and AI-related cloud services (e.g. Azure AI, Azure OpenAI is a plus).

• Experience in AMS operations / platform support environments.

• Solid troubleshooting skills and experience in production operations.

• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.

• Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.
