We are seeking a proactive and strategic Cloud Operations Manager to oversee the operational excellence, service delivery, and client success of our cloud services. This role combines the responsibilities of managing day-to-day operations, ensuring service reliability, and building strong customer relationships to maximize value and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Service Delivery & Performance

  • Own end-to-end cloud service delivery, ensuring SLAs, KPIs, and client expectations are consistently met.
  • Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and support teams to maintain service reliability and scalability.
  • Monitor cloud service metrics, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage incident, problem, and change management processes to minimize downtime and operational risks.

2. Cloud Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations across cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for cloud resource management, automation, and operational workflows.
  • Maintain operational dashboards, reporting, and governance to provide leadership visibility.
  • Coordinate resource allocation, readiness for new deployments, and operational planning.

3. Client Success & Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned cloud clients, ensuring service alignment with their business goals.
  • Conduct regular service reviews, share performance insights, and propose enhancements.
  • Build trust with clients through transparency, proactive communication, and strategic advice.
  • Identify opportunities for additional value, service expansion, or cloud optimization.

4. Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement governance frameworks and operational standards across cloud services.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance service quality, reliability, and customer experience.
  • Contribute to cloud strategy, roadmap planning, and future operational readiness.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in cloud operations, service delivery, or IT account management.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, service management principles, and cloud operational KPIs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
