About the Role As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Intern, you’ll work with experienced engineers who design, build, and maintain the systems that keep Tinder running at scale. You’ll gain real-world experience learning how large-scale cloud environments operate and help ensure our platform is reliable, secure, and efficient. What you'll do:
  • Learn how Tinder manages and scales cloud infrastructure that supports millions of users.
  • Assist in building and automating tools that help monitor, deploy, and maintain cloud-based systems.
  • Work on improving system reliability, performance, and security under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams across the organization to support development and deployment workflows.
  • Participate in team meetings, and code reviews.
  • What we're looking for:
  • Interest in cloud computing, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure (from coursework or personal learning).
  • Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, or Bash).
  • Curiosity about infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform (bonus if you’ve used them).
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
