Cloud Engineer

• Provision and configure Azure compute, storage, and network services for a large enterprise migration program
• Implement automation using PowerShell or Terraform
• Hands-on experience with cloud or hybrid environments, server operations, network management
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance, availability, and cost issues
• Enforce security and compliance standards
• Implement governance and cost optimization
• Provide oversight and mentorship to engineers
• Strong troubleshooting ability, task ownership, documentation, cross-collaboration with architects and other teams

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in the field of information technology or comparable training
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and in Core Azure Services including Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity
• Experience in Azure architecture, ARM/Bicep, Terraform, Landing Zones, Azure Migrate, Well-Architected Framework
• Minimum 8 years of professional IT experience and at least 2 years of professional experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS solutions
• Proven experience in enterprise cloud migrations
• Expertise in Azure networking, compute, and identity
• Intercultural competence and willingness to travel
• Strong understanding of IaC, DevOps, and security frameworks
• Scripting expertise in PowerShell, Azure CLI
• Good proficiency in English (business level), both written and spoken

Nice to have skills:

• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification
• Azure Infrastructure Solutions (AZ-305) certiication
• Hosting SAP on Azure experience
• FinOps expertise
• German language skills
