Join us and unleash your potential working in an agile environment alongside the men and women charged with ensuring the success of one of the most important missions in American Government.  As a Cloud DevOps Engineer you will help build and optimize cloud-native development and deployment pipelines in AWS. You’ll design and manage CI/CD workflows using tools like CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins, and use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or CloudFormation. You’ll deploy containerized and serverless applications, automate testing and release processes, and integrate observability and security into every phase. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer you will:

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices.
  • Develop and deploy Lambda functions and Step Functions state machines.
  • Package and push Docker containers, manage ECS/EKS deployments.
  • Automate test, build, and promotion phases.
  • Implement release strategies (blue/green, canary).
  • Integrate security scans and compliance checks into pipelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), or CloudFormation.
  • Strong experience developing serverless and event-driven applications using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
  • Skilled in containerization, including building Docker images, pushing to Amazon ECR, and deploying via ECS or EKS.
  • Solid understanding of monitoring and observability best practices, including experience with AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and OpenTelemetry.
