Cloud Billing Operation - (Public Sector)

At Xtremax, Cloud Billing Operation managing end-to-end billing operations, monitoring product adoption and utilisation, and ensuring billing accuracy. This role works closely with relevant teams, cloud service providers, and customers to deliver transparent, accurate, and timely billing processes, while continuously improving operational efficiency and compliance. Candidates with public sector experience are preferred, as this role supports IT projects for government agencies.

Responsibility

• Support Cloud Programme and project teams in tracking and reporting product adoption and utilisation metrics.
• Generate, validate, and analyse product utilisation reports from third-party vendors, including Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).
• Prepare and publish utilisation and billing reports for customer verification and internal review.
• Review invoices to ensure billing accuracy, including validation of charges and reconciliation against usage data.
• Handle customer queries related to cloud utilisation and billing, including:
• Invoice accuracy verification
• Charge reconciliation
• Discrepancy resolution
• Credit notes processing
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, finance teams, and external vendors to investigate and resolve billing disputes in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of billing processes, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Track billing activities, issues, and resolutions to ensure auditability and process transparency.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare regular reports and summaries for management on billing status, discrepancies, and key findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in billing operations, cloud operations, or IT operations support.
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and usage-based billing models.
• Experience handling billing queries, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
• Familiarity with ticketing or ITSM tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Good documentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and third-party vendors.
• Scripting or database knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience working on Singapore Government or public sector projects will be advantageous.
