We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This role is ideal for a senior-level professional with deep experience designing and managing cloud solutions across AWS and Microsoft Azure, with a focus on large-scale, complex projects. The successful candidate will bring expertise in cloud architecture, containerization, DevOps integration, security compliance, and cloud migrations.

Requirements

    • Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing on enterprise-scale projects.

    • Architect and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructures.

    • Ensure environments comply with FedRAMP or GovRAMP standards, maintaining regulatory and security adherence.

    • Collaborate with software development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and adopt DevOps practices.

    • Utilize containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) to enable efficient cloud operations.

    • Lead the design and implementation of complex cloud solutions, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

    • Oversee critical cloud migration projects, including the internal HEARTS, EPP, and Gateway Cloud Migrations, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solution delivery.

    • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Architect Expert.

    • Proven hands-on experience with:

      • AWS and Azure cloud platforms

      • Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

      • Cloud migrations and hybrid cloud strategies

      • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools/practices

    • Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance standards (FedRAMP, GovRAMP), and risk management.

    • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale, complex projects.

    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working with additional cloud providers (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).

    • Familiarity with cost optimization strategies and cloud governance frameworks.

    • Prior experience with government or public sector cloud projects.
