About the Role

The Cloud Alliance Domain Leader is responsible for leading Veeam’s strategic cloud partnerships—Microsoft, AWS, Google—across the assigned region (North America ). This role owns the regional cloud alliance strategy, translating global direction into field execution to accelerate pipeline growth, co-sell momentum, and revenue realization.

As a senior member of the Field Alliances organization, the Domain Leader manages a team of Territory Alliance Managers (TAMs) covering regional execution across cloud alliances. The Domain Leader ensures alignment between Veeam, the hyperscalers, and the broader ecosystem, driving field engagement, partner innovation, and measurable business outcomes.

This role requires a strong sales-oriented leader with experience driving alliances or GTM strategy with major cloud providers, and the ability to operate strategically while executing tactically across a large, matrixed region.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate global strategy into actionable regional plans, adapting for local market dynamics, partner maturity, and sales priorities.
  • Drive innovation in how Veeam activates its cloud partnerships in-region—through new GTM plays, account planning, sponsorships, and field initiatives.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for regional cloud alliance leadership within Microsoft and AWS, maintaining executive alignment and collaboration.
  • Lead and coach a team of regional Territory Alliance Managers (TAMs) who each own specific territories for Microsoft and AWS.
  • Ensure consistent execution across regions, establishing clear goals, KPIs, and accountability.
  • Develop team capability in co-sell engagement, pipeline management, and partner collaboration.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on creativity, accountability, and results.
  • Oversee the execution of joint GTM plans across cloud alliances, driving field awareness, enablement, and pipeline creation.
  • Identify and prioritize 2–3 regional sales plays per partnership that deliver the highest growth impact (e.g., M365 to Cloud, VDC + Vault, Kasten/EKS).
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and channel teams to operationalize co-sell programs and ensure adoption.
  • Own measurable regional targets for pipeline generation, co-sell revenue, and resell bookings.
  • Partner closely with Veeam’s Global Cloud Alliance Leaders, regional sales leadership, and marketing to ensure visibility and alignment.
  • Represent the region in global cloud alliance forums, providing insight into performance, opportunities, and innovation emerging from the field.
  • Ensure strong integration with Veeam’s channel, SE, and marketing organizations to extend joint plays through key partners and marketplaces.
  • Drive rhythm of business across the region—QBRs, executive briefings, and account alignment sessions with hyperscaler counterparts.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in technology alliances, cloud sales, or partner leadership, ideally with or within Microsoft, AWS, or a major ISV in the ecosystem.
  • Proven success leading teams and driving measurable co-sell and GTM results in a multi-partner environment.
  • Previous quota-carrying sales or alliance experience, with deep understanding of the sales process and frameworks such as MEDDIC.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and relationship-building skills with C-level and regional leaders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and operationalize programs that drive business outcomes.
  • Business-level technical acumen—able to speak fluently and credibly in high-level business conversations about cloud data protection, SaaS, and modern infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience managing teams across geographies, with strong leadership and coaching capability.
  • Remote (North America), with up to 100% travel to hyperscaler offices, partner meetings, and industry events.
