Symmetrio is recruiting a Clinical Solutions Specialist position for their client, a large multi-national medical device company. This person will oversee the sales and promotion of radiation oncology solutions in treatment planning, demonstrating expertise in multiple product lines and managing a quota. The position is based in the West region, working with a team composed of Sales, Technical, and Service Managers. This is a remote position; however, travel is required and will be up to 40% depending on where the candidate is based.
The territory is Mid Atlantic (KY, MD, NC, OH, TN, VA, Eastern PA)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the sales of targeted products, serving as the technical expert for these products, crafting and delivering sales proposals and system solutions, and successfully closing sales.
- Work closely with the regional team to promote all products within the portfolio.
- Showcase proficiency in demonstrating product functionality for diverse audiences, both small and large, and show the value propositions of the products, highlighting integration with other solutions.
- Support the correct configuration of customer quotations and contribute to sales efforts to secure software and hardware commitments for the organization.
- Provide business plans, order results, and sales forecasts for the region.
Compensation: Base salary of $130,000. The target total compensation for the plan is $260,000, inclusive of variable earnings.
Requirements
- Background in Dosimetry or Physics.
- Experience in treatment planning.
- Previous experience as an early-mid level sales account manager or technical sales specialist in radiation oncology is good to have but not required. Experience in the clinic as a dosimetrist or physicist is a must.
- Industry-specific knowledge for demonstrating product lines.
- IT proficiency, awareness of the health reform landscape, and familiarity with PACS and EMR.
- Capable of addressing problems of diverse scope, exercising independent judgment in solving complex business issues.
- Networking with senior internal and external personnel is crucial, emphasizing teamwork in the role.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of related experience.
- Performs all required management responsibilities, ensuring adherence to company policies, programs, and guidelines, and maintaining market awareness essential for effective organizational management.
- Total compensation is salary plus an incentive (bonus commission). Expected first year earnings are in the 180K-200K range.
