Symmetrio is recruiting for their client, a global oncology focused company, a Clinical Sales Support Specialist. This role plays a critical role in driving regional growth and supporting sales initiatives across assigned territories, with a primary focus on the St. Louis market. This position is responsible for clinical case coverage and physician education, while also supporting lead qualification, face-to-face sales calls, reactivation of dormant accounts, and execution of regional educational and sales events (e.g., dinners, in-services, journal clubs). The role requires close collaboration with field sales teams and internal stakeholders to support product adoption and achieve regional revenue objectives. Base salary is $110,000 with OTE of $125,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with regional sales leadership and territory managers to coordinate and execute case coverage, healthcare professional (HCP) training, and ongoing account support within the St. Louis market
- Provide clinical education and in-service training for new and existing accounts to ensure successful product adoption and continued utilization
- Support product positioning through clinical expertise and hands-on physician education
- Assist with onboarding of new accounts and reactivation of inactive accounts
- Partner with sales teams to identify, target, and build relationships with new physician prospects to drive same-site growth
- Support planning and execution of regional sales and educational events, including peer-to-peer programs, dinners, and journal clubs
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Access and handle patient or employee information only as required for job-related duties
- Foster a positive, collaborative team culture aligned with company values
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the medical device industry; experience in surgical specialties or oncology strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels
- Experience analyzing and interpreting clinical data
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 35%
- Ability to manage a flexible work schedule
- Ability to successfully pass required background checks and screenings
