Intellect is looking for an AHPRA-registered Clinical Psychologist to join its Clinical team in Australia.

Key Responsibilities & System Building

  • Therapy & Assessments: Provide evidence-based in-person and virtual therapy, maintaining a hands-on clinical caseload aligned with Intellect clinical governance and AHPRA standards. Conduct psychosocial assessments such as Return to Work Assessment, Psychosocial Risk Assessment and others.  Provide the necessary case management where needed. 
  • Clinical Account: Liaising with client representatives and internal stakeholders to uphold clinical quality & data reporting.
  • On-site Crisis Support: Deliver crisis deployments on-site, including psychological first aid, facilitating group briefings, and delivering individual stabilisation sessions, with clear follow-up pathways and escalation processes.

Requirements

  • Full AHPRA registration as a Clinical Psychologist with Clinical Endorsement.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical & case management experience providing counselling/psychotherapy and psychological assessments (including Return to Work, Workplace reports, and Psychosocial Risk Hazards assessment)
  • Experience in managing complex, high-risk, or safety-critical populations is advantageous.
  • Willingness to undertake urgent ad-hoc, short-term travel to support crisis intervention. (1 to 2 days on avg) 
  • Familiarity with FIFO workforces, remote workers, mining contexts, or migrant workers is highly advantageous.
