Bold has recently launched a virtual clinic specializing in preventive and lifestyle medicine and is looking for an experienced Clinical Operations Lead to oversee our clinical team and help build operations that are scalable and member-centric.

This is a full time role, based in our Los Angeles HQ and reporting to the VP Clinical Operations & Strategy.

Role Overview & Key Outcomes

As a Clinical Operations Lead, you will help us build, operate and scale our virtual clinic. You will oversee clinical operations, staff enablement, and care delivery to ensure a high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered experience.

You will work closely with clinicians, product team, and Bold leadership to design systems and processes that scale.

Key outcomes include:

  • High patient and provider satisfaction (NPS and quality metrics)
  • Scalable, compliant clinical operations and workflows
  • Strong clinical quality, safety, and regulatory performance
  • Effective staffing, onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development

What You’ll Do / Core Responsibilities

You will:

  • Establish, build, and continuously improve end-to-end clinical operations, including people, processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Support with recruitment, hiring, and onboarding members of the clinical teams.
  • Manage staffing schedules, resource allocation, and patient assignments to optimize capacity, efficiency, and care quality.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clinical staff.
  • Equip teams with the tools, training, and processes needed to deliver effective, efficient care.
  • Conduct audits, reviews, and performance evaluations.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, cross-functional projects, and feedback loops to enhance the care delivery model.

What We’re Looking For / Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.*
  • Demonstrated leadership of clinical operations, care teams, or healthcare programs with understanding of clinical workflows.
  • Proficient in data interpretation and analysis.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Highly proactive with a strong bias for action (‘Get Stuff Done’ attitude).
  • Excellent prioritization, organizational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in early-stage or high-growth organizations.
  • Experience in virtual care / telehealth.
  • Familiarity with EHRs, scheduling systems, credentialing and clinical operations platforms.

Compensation: 

We’re committed to an inclusive, consistent, and equitable approach to compensation and anticipate that this position will earn between $100-128k annually. The exact salary will depend on the amount of relevant and transferable experience you bring to the role. You will also receive meaningful equity in the form of a stock option grant.
