Successful candidates must be available to attend orientation on: Tuesday, February 17th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (virtual) and Thursday, February 19th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (in person).
The Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, a leader in adult rehabilitation and complex continuing care, is Canada’s largest adult rehabilitation hospital. The clinical extern will be working as part of a team in the capacity of an unregulated health care provider. Clinical externs work in collaboration with a unit under direct and/or indirect supervision of a Registered Health Professional in the care environment.
UHN is currently accepting applications from Nursing Students for the Extern program.
Externs will be hired on contract, during which the Extern will work part time hours to a maximum of full-time hours (37.5 hours per week). The scheduling of these hours will be determined based on unit needs and may include day/evening/night and weekend shifts.
