Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Educator to join our team. In this role, you'll be a registered nurse with a passion for education, dedicated to enhancing the professional growth and competence of our nursing staff. You'll serve as a change agent, facilitator, consultant, and researcher, using your expertise to support the development of bedside nurses. Your main goal will be to foster empowerment through knowledge and skills, ensuring our team delivers excellent, evidence-based nursing care.

Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required. A Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) is also required, but we will consider candidates who are currently enrolled in an MSN program with a projected completion date within 18 months of hire.
  • Experience:
    • 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
    • Experience with adult education, including course development.
  • Certifications & Licenses:
    • Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred:

  • Certification in a nursing core specialty.
  • Formal educator experience.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Experience with both high-fidelity and low-fidelity simulation training.
