HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Clinical Education Manager has a clinical background in Wound care and leads development and delivery of advanced clinical education and training programs to support the business development efforts of the Regenerative Wound services team. This role will partner with the National Sales Trainer, Regional Managers, and field-based services team to contribute to the achievement of business goals associated with specific initiatives at the regional and/or national level. Actively consults on the clinical benefits of the product(s), and builds strong, positive relationships with key surgeons and clinical staff at targeted accounts. Serves as the subject matter expert for the clinical education and consultation of our solutions for the treatment of complex wounds. Collaborates with the sales marketing, and reimbursement teams to increase communication efforts around the product(s)’ clinical performance. Understands the wound care buying process and helps facilitate educational strategies to support successful account conversion and implementation of the LifeNet Health bio-implant product portfolio.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Sales Support & Customer Management: Partners with sales representatives and distributors to contribute to the achievement of business goals associated with specific initiatives at the regional and/or national level and will actively sell the clinical benefits of the product(s). Builds strong, positive relationships with key surgeons and clinical staff at targeted accounts, while providing consultative assistance to clinicians during cases and dressing changes to ensure proper clinical utilization of LifeNet Health bio-implants. Activities will be conducted in all sites of care – Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Hospital Outpatient Department, and Physician office setting.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintains a thorough understanding of wound care healing principles, relevant clinical studies and scientific literature, and can proficiently guide a relevant conversation with surgeons, clinicians, and administrative personnel. Maintains relevant clinical certification. Serves as Clinical SME for franchise.
  • Clinical Education & Training: Design and implement the Advance Clinical Training for the regenerative wound solutions franchise. Assesses clinical training aptitude of field force and proactively assembles and delivers additional clinical training materials (e.g. articles, webinars, presentations) to increase the clinical competency and confidence of the team. Conducts clinical training for new sales personnel
  • Internal Partnerships: Partners with Regulatory and Scientific Affairs in the authoring of clinical white papers and case studies.
  • Administrative Duties: Ensures administrative responsibilities are completed in a timely manner such as weekly reports, expense reports, etc.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse (R.N) or advanced licensing such as MD or DO
  • 5 years Supporting sales and/or patients within medical device industry, healthcare setting or Physician’s office
  • 7 years Recent doctor or registered nurse experience in wound care setting
  • Valid Driver’s License

 

Preferred/Skills/Certification:

  • Certified Wound Specialist (CWS)

 

 Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Communication: Effective oral, written and presentation communication skills. Ability to speak and present to a variety of audiences
  • Strategize: Ability to analyze and strategize in order to meet business goals and objectives.
  • Clinical Interaction and Knowledge: Ability to interface with physicians, surgeons, hospitals and educate them on LifeNet Health products. Knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology, wound healing, and various traumatic surgical scenarios including, but not limited to, excision, burn surgery, amputation and open abdomen with exposed organs
  • Clinical and Scientific Acumen: Ability to read, interpret, and communicate clinical study results and scientific data in a meaningful way to clinical stakeholders

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $100,000 - $147,000 Plus Variable

 

Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience.
