Reporting to the Director of Accreditation this position provides on-hands on support and ongoing guidance to hospital pharmacy partners on URAC and ACHC Accreditations.

 

Job Duties:

  • Leads Accreditation survey readiness program for ACHC & URAC Accreditations with duties including but not limited to:
    • Preforming gap analyses;
    • Preparation of URAC and ACHC compliant policy and procedure manual;
    • Preparation of URAC Desktop submission and uploading to AccreditNet;
    • Provide assistance with set up of ACHC Customer Central and submitting the PER Checklist;
    • Facilitating survey readiness activities such as mock audits, training, and the development of corrective action plans;
    • Participating in Quality Management Committees and Quality Management Program activities such as Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) and collection of Performance Indicator (PI) data;
    • Actively preparing and participating in on-site surveys, including coordination of agendas, assigning tasks, tracking activities, and preparation of documentation to be presented during the survey. 
  • Supports ongoing readiness for accreditation surveys with duties includes but not limited to:
    • Revising policies and procedures to comply with changes in ACHC & URAC Accreditation standards;
    • Providing training when changes in accreditation standards occur;
    • Acting as a subject matter expert in accreditation for all staff;
    • Continually monitoring and tracking opportunities for improvement;
    • Developing templates, tools, and processes to facilitate an efficient and effective means for accreditation compliance;
    • Attends workshops and webinars hosted by URAC and ACHC for ongoing education on accreditation.

Experience/ Education:

  • Required Licensure/Certification: Applicant must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree and be a licensed Pharmacist
  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in Pharmacy.  Prior accreditation experience preferred.
  • Detail oriented, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, meet specific deadlines, able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and processes.
