World Relief seeks a Client Support Coordinator to respond to general enquiries about services provided to Ukrainian and Russian speaking clients, process client applications, respond to phone enquiries, conduct initial contacts with clients and enter client information into the organization’s database. This position will work closely with case specialists to ensure timely contacts with clients, plan client support and monitor their progress through the period of service.

This position will report to all 3 offices (Aurora, Carol Stream, and Chicago)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Client Services
  • Respond to phone and email enquiries about services for Ukrainian and Russian speaking clients
  • Process client applications and conduct initial contact with them
  • Update client lists regularly and maintain their records in the organizational database
  • Assist in producing and submitting regular program reports
  • Assist in planning individual and group intakes with clients
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Administrative Responsibilities
  • Maintain timely and accurate client files, case notes, and reporting records
  • Enter and update client data in the organization’s database system
  • Actively participate in department meetings, staff development opportunities, program trainings, community activities, and organizational events
  • Provide supervision and accountability for department interns when assigned
  • Work closely with internal service teams and external service providers to ensure comprehensive service provision

  • Strong organizational skills, orientation to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Highly self-motivated with good follow-through and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to communicate cross-culturally and adapt the approach to a service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics
  • Ability to evaluate and respond to crises
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Fluency in Russian preferred
  • Occasional evening or weekend hours may be needed

  • Mature and personal Christian faith

  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
  • Fluency in English and Ukrainian
  • Cross-cultural experience
  • Minimum required education: high school diploma
  • Basic MS Office skills
  • Valid driver’s license, regular access to a vehicle, and ability/willingness to drive 15-passenger van

·         While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations

·         Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 
 
·         General office setting. World Relief also offers hybrid and remote schedules for limited positions.
·         Great lengths of time working on computer, reading from computer screen, entering information, standing at copier or fax machine, and some time on the phone or in virtual meetings may be required.
·         Year-end archiving activities involve repeated lifting and bending.
